About Perfumes

Fragrance is a non-verbal message to the person you meet. A perfume with a good fragrance is a very pleasant and unique way to communicate your self-concept, image, mood, feelings and style to others. A good perfume brings a  sense of excitement. Avid users only have few perfumes, which portray their standards and identity.

The word perfume is from the Latin phrase "perfumum" meaning "through smoke." The first perfume substances were burned for sacred purposes. Perfumes in Pakistan market are widely distributed through brand name companies and bulk importers.

Attar are extracted substance derived from the distillation of flowers. "Attar" means essence and refers to the aromatic ingredients that give spices their fragrance and flavor. Attar is a Persian/Arabic word meaning "fragrance, scent, or essence." Attars have been famous in the Near East, Persia, India and Pakistan for over 5,000 years.

Experiments have shown a link between the color of flowers and their degree of fragrance. Flower colors are listed by intensity, from the strongest to the least fragrant: White, yellow, red, blue, violet, orange and brown.

Perfume Oils are most concentrated form of fragrance oil (making it the most expensive). Perfume oil is the strongest and longest-lasting of the lot and may contain several hundred ingredients. It contains 20 to 50% perfume compound.

One of the important things the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) liked to use was pleasant attars. This is now highly praised in the Sunnah. It is truly said that pleasant attars attract positive energy, light and uplift the spirit.

Perfumes are beautiful gifts for everyone and are indication of love and care. This gift is always a traditional part of our lives. In Pakistan's perfume market, Perfumes4U is remarkable perfume shopping mall to provide quality fragrance to its customers.

Be confident, wear the perfume and Enjoy!

How to use perfumes

  • Perfume oils are always applied in layers on the dresses you wear. Apply first layer by putting perfume oil on your palm, then  rub both the palms once and apply  on your dress front or shoulders. Repeat the same procedure thrice.

  • You may also apply perfume oils on your pulse points…behind the ears, the inside wrists, inside the crook of the arms, at the temples, at the base of the throat, at the bosom, and behind the knees. The heat of the body will help to accentuate the fragrance

  • Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear.
Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions

  • Each perfume has its own essence. Use one at a time. If you want, never try  more than 3 fragrances at a time when looking for a new fragrance. Otherwise your nose will lose its ability to tell the difference and the true scent of the fragrance may not be enjoyed.

  • Keep all fragrances in a cool, dry area, and away from window as sunlight can unbalance the various ingredients. An opened bottle should be kept in its box to insure a longer shelf life.
